Dr. Abigail Lee Darling
Dr. Abigail Darling (Keith) is originally from Acworth, GA. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she studied biological sciences. After serving on a mission trip, she was drawn to dentistry as a way to serve others and challenge herself. She then pursued her dental education at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. Upon completing dental school, Dr. Darling completed a one-year general practice residency at the Prisma Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC; this is the same post-graduate training program that Dr. Kennedy attended after dental school. This hospital-based residency provided additional advanced training in procedures not taught in dental school, such as dental implant placement, wisdom teeth removal, and IV sedation training.
Dr. Darling is passionate about providing compassionate and comprehensive dentistry to her patients. She is skilled in all areas of dentistry, but she particularly enjoys IV sedation, dental implant placement, and surgical dentistry. Dr. Darling is a licensed and permitted IV Sedation provider with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. The ability to provide IV sedation allows Dr. Darling to offer the highest degree of comfort to patients with high dental anxiety or those who simply desire the most comfortable dental experience possible.
Dr. Darling is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the South Carolina Dental Association. She regularly volunteers at the Greenville Free Dental Clinic in downtown Greenville. She is married to her husband, Brady, a Greenville native. In her free time, Dr. Darling enjoys staying active by running, playing tennis, taking workout classes, and practicing yoga. Dr. Darling enjoys going to church and trying new restaurants. She frequently goes to the lake, attends football games, and visits family and friends.
